About FitMySim
Buying a home golf simulator is a multi-thousand-dollar decision, and the most common expensive mistake is buying gear that doesn't physically fit the room — usually because of ceiling height, the constraint people forget.
FitMySim exists to answer one question honestly and instantly: will a golf simulator fit my room, and if so, what should I buy? You enter three measurements; the calculator gives a clear verdict, the right launch-monitor type for your space, and a build recommendation by budget.
How the recommendations work
The verdict is built from established home-simulator space guidance: comfortable full-swing clearance of 9–10 ft (adjusted for player height), width for single- or both-handed play, and depth for ball flight, stance and projector throw. Where a room is tight, the tool steers you to floor / behind-the-ball launch monitors that need no overhead mount, because that's what actually works in low rooms.
It's guidance, not a guarantee — every room has quirks (rafters, lights, door tracks), so we always tell you to confirm with a tape measure and a slow practice swing before purchasing.
